Race pirate ships in your browser with Assassin's Creed: Pirates. Ubisoft built this online demo with Microsoft Edge to show how far browser tech can go. You get ship handling modeled after the desktop release, so the water and hull movement feel closer to a full game than a stripped test. Sword fights stay out of the picture here. You line up for pirate races, challenge a friend, and watch the sea shift under nine lighting presets that change the hour, the sky, and the weight of the fog.

How to play?

Pick one of three difficulty settings before heading onto the water, then adjust the visual setup if you want a different run across the same course. From the options menu, switch between sunny, overcast, foggy, or clear conditions, with extra lighting variations that change how the sun cuts through mist. During a match, guide the ship through the race route and stay ahead of the other pirate vessel until the finish line comes up.
