Top Gear 2 carries the older SEGA racing feel into a longer championship with rougher rivals, visible car damage in the upper-left display, and cash payouts that change what sits in your garage after every event. New money goes into upgrades for the current ride or a full replacement, and extra horsepower makes steering less forgiving. Sixteen countries hold the full tour. Sixty-four tracks fill the schedule. Four races make up each location.

How to play?

Race circular courses that usually run three laps, then finish inside the top ten to score championship points. Between events, check the leaderboard and watch your standing move after each result. In wet or changing conditions, brake earlier and place the car carefully because the weather cuts into maneuverability. Against a more aggressive pack than the first game used, protect the bodywork and avoid piling damage onto the meter. After the checkered flag, spend the prize money in the garage menu on performance upgrades or switch to a different car if the budget covers it.
