Paper Boy on Scooter

Paper Boy on Scooter is an arcade game about a guy who decided to earn some extra pocket money. Some people walk their neighbors' dogs, some mow lawns, but our hero chose to deliver newspapers around the neighborhood. Luckily, he has a scooter, so he can cover a lot of houses in one day. The economics are simple: a correctly delivered newspaper brings in two dollars, missing a yard takes away one, and crashing into an obstacle costs five. The starting capital is five dollars. Have you lost all your money? Start over with the same five dollars. The game can go on forever if you learn how to accurately deliver printed materials to the right addresses.

How to play?

The scooter rolls forward automatically, you are only responsible for turning left and right. Use the arrow keys to steer around cones and barriers on the road. Every collision costs you money, so be careful. The main mechanic is throwing newspapers into the yards of houses. A red pointer constantly rotates around the hero, showing the trajectory of the newspaper throw. Wait for the moment when it turns exactly towards the nearest house and press the throw button. The newspaper will fly in the direction of the pointer. Did you hit the yard exactly? A green light comes on and you get two bucks on your account. Did the newspaper fly somewhere into the bushes or onto a neighboring plot? A red flash and minus a dollar. Keep an eye on your balance on the screen. As long as you have at least a cent, you can continue rolling. Deliver as many newspapers as possible in one trip and fill your pockets with honestly earned money.
