Paper Boy on Scooter

Paper Boy on Scooter is an arcade-style scooter game about a kid trying to make some extra cash. Some people walk their neighbors' dogs, some mow lawns, but your hero decided to deliver newspapers around the neighborhood. Luckily, he has a scooter, so he can hit a lot of houses in one run. The rules are simple: a newspaper delivered to the right yard earns you two dollars, missing a yard costs you one, and crashing into an obstacle costs you five. You start with five dollars. Lose it all, and you just start over with the same five. The game can go on forever if you learn to deliver the papers accurately to the right addresses.

How to play?

The scooter moves forward automatically, and you only handle turning left and right. Use the arrow keys to steer around cones and other barriers in the road. Every collision takes money from your balance, so try to avoid them. The main mechanic is throwing newspapers into the yards of the houses. A red pointer constantly spins around your character and shows the direction of your throw. Wait until it points directly at the nearest house, then press the throw button. The newspaper will fly along that line. If you land it in the yard, a green light comes on, and you get two bucks added to your balance. If the paper ends up in the bushes or in a neighbor's yard, you see a red flash and lose one dollar. Keep an eye on your money on the screen. As long as you still have at least a cent, you can keep riding. Try to deliver as many newspapers as you can in one run and stack up your hard-earned cash.
