In the game "Scooby-Doo: Ruff Rescue" you'll get into a bind again with Scooby Doo and Shaggy. During another team investigation, Scooby and Shaggy get lost in the desert. They wandered for a long time and came out to an old ghost town. It was very creepy and so scary that even a chill ran down their spine. They were about to flee when they heard barking. It came from an abandoned gold mine. Without even talking they went there and decided to rescue the poor puppies.

You will play the cowardly dog Scooby Doo, who managed to overpower his fear and went in search of little dogs. Ahead of you awaits a long road. Along the way you must collect Scooby's favorite doggy treats.

Strange things are happening in the mine, many of which can scare the hell out of you. It is said that an evil miner's spirit dwells there. Avoid confronting him and avoid all the traps he has prepared for you. Help Scooby navigate through ditches of water on splintered wooden boards, and watch out for rushing wagons.
