Red Ball 1

You drop onto the first patch of grass as a bright red ball—the only thing moving in a place full of pits, spikes, and weird rolling blocks. The path ahead twists up and down. Sometimes the ground just ends, and there's nothing but open air and a row of spikes. Once in a while, there's a swinging axe or a heavy metal slab waiting overhead. Sometimes you'll spot a red flag fluttering on a pole—that's a relief, since if you mess up, you start there instead of all the way back.

How to play?

In the game Red Ball 1, you move the ball left or right to get past gaps and enemies. Jump over spikes, roll under axes, and avoid getting stuck between blocks that move back and forth. The ground isn't always solid—some platforms just slide away as soon as you land on them. Watch out for the big concrete balls; if one of those lands on you, you're back at the last flag. Sometimes you need to time your jumps so you don't get crushed or knocked into a pit. Keep rolling forward, and whenever you see a flag, hit it—you'll be glad you did when things get tricky. The finish line's always a bit further, past one more moving trap.
