Xonix Explorer

Xonix Explorer updates the old territory-capture arcade formula with a 3D look and a sci-fi scout craft. Guide a recon vehicle across unknown sectors, slice off parts of the board, and lock down as much space as you can before hazards cut you off. Thirty stages push you through shifting layouts, while a separate timed mode adds a stricter pace. Score climbs with every section you claim.

Rolling spheres drift across the grid in random paths. Other threats crowd the area too, from bladed hazards to explosive traps and strange machines that disrupt your route. Pick up bonus effects that slow time, speed up movement, add extra lives, or shift the platform's position.

How to play?

Scan the grid before you leave the safe edge. Watch traffic patterns and wait for a gap. Move the craft out across open space to draw a dotted line. Reconnect that line to a secured border to seal off a section. Stay off moving danger while the line is unfinished. If anything cuts through your trail, the craft crashes. Cover larger portions of the playfield to raise your score. In the timed mode, claim space fast before the clock runs out.
