Tiny Trails

Tiny Trails is a cozy puzzle game about a tiny world made of tiles, where roads have been torn apart and no longer reach their destination. There is a clear start and finish, but nothing in between. Tiles with road segments are scattered across the grid in the wrong order. A little cat appears nearby. It does not run around or distract you, it simply gives gentle hints about what to do and how the basic rules work. As you progress, the grids get larger, free space shrinks, and the tiles start to block each other. Sometimes you are missing a single turn, sometimes the path runs into a dead end, and sometimes everything seems correct but the route still will not close. You earn coins for solving levels, and you can spend them on customizing the cat with different hats and accessories.

How to play?

In Tiny Trails, you slide tiles across a grid to connect the starting point to the end point. A tile can only be moved into an adjacent empty space, so you cannot freely drag pieces anywhere. Move tiles, rotate segments, and check whether the paths connect. Make sure the road does not break or end on the closed edge of a tile. Sometimes it helps to clear the center of the grid first, then link the route from one side to the other. The fewer moves you use, the higher your reward for that level. If you finish quickly, you get a time bonus right after completing the puzzle.

The cat occasionally highlights which tiles to pay attention to, especially in the early stages. The controls are simple. Click with the mouse or tap the screen to move tiles around the grid. Clear the route, connect the start to the finish, and the level is complete, then you move on to the next one.
