Tiny Trails

The game Tiny Trails tells the story of a small world made of tiles, where the roads have been torn apart and no longer lead to their destination. There is a start and a finish, but between them is emptiness. Cells with pieces of the road are scattered across the field, and they are in the wrong order. A cat appears nearby — it doesn't run around or get in the way, it just hints at what needs to be done here and how the basic rules work. Gradually, the fields become larger, there is less free space, and the pieces begin to interfere with each other. Sometimes there is one turn missing, sometimes the path ends in a dead end, and sometimes everything looks right, but the route still doesn't close. Coins are awarded for successful solutions. They can be spent on the cat's appearance, changing hats and accessories.

How to play

In Tiny Trails, you move cells across a grid, connecting the starting point to the end point. Tiles can only be moved to a space with an empty spot next to it, so you can't just drag elements around. Move cells, rotate elements, and check if the paths connect. Make sure that the path does not break or end at a closed side of the tile. Sometimes it is helpful to first clear the center of the field, then connect the route from edge to edge. The fewer moves you make, the higher the reward for the level. If you manage to complete the task quickly, the bonus is awarded immediately after completion. The cat periodically hints at which elements to pay attention to, especially at the beginning. The controls are simple: click the mouse or touch the screen to move the tiles across the field. Clear the route, connect the start to the finish, and the level is complete. You can then move on to the next one.
