Motorways

The road-building puzzles of Motorways ask you to link scattered towns before traffic locks the map. New routes cut across plains, climb into high ground, and cross rough gaps with bridges. Cars need a usable path to the next city. Crashes choke nearby lanes, which slows the whole network. There are 50 stages, and faster finishes bring a higher score.

How to play?

Begin with the short tutorial, then scan the grid for black squares that can connect. Drag the mouse from one square to another to lay down a road segment. Watch the score rise after residents reach their destination, then fill the progress bar to unlock the next level. Click the bridge icon in the upper left when the land blocks a direct route. Resize the map when you need a wider view of the layout.
