Upgrades increase how many smiles each click gives or unlock more passive smile income. Some upgrades improve your main pony directly. Others add extra ponies that generate automatic clicks per second. With several ponies active, the smile counter keeps going up even when you click less. If you invest in new ponies early, the auto clicks grow steadily during longer play sessions. Extra ponies and upgrades also unlock new pony parties, festivals, and other small events on the screen. These events do not change the rules but make the progress feel more active.
