Shadow of the Orient

Ancient lands stand under siege. In the pixel world of Shadow of the Orient, a lone warrior cuts through occupied territory to stop a dark lord and free the world from invading evil. Enemy troops fill the path ahead. Samurai patrol ruined ground, mythical creatures block the route, and prisoners wait behind enemy lines. Fifteen stages stretch across several lands, with boss fights standing between the hero and the final showdown. Two difficulty settings change the run before the first fight begins. Secret routes break away from the main path, leading to treasure chests and other loot tucked behind the usual route.

How to play?

Pick a difficulty mode, then move through each stage by wiping out the invaders in that area. Use a double jump to cross long spaces or avoid incoming strikes. Deep water can be crossed from above or by swimming, but air runs out fast underwater, and drowning ends the attempt. Wooden platforms crack beneath your feet and may drop away after contact. Break vases and smash other scenery pieces to pull valuables from inside. Gold coins and jewels raise the hero's stats after collection. Checkpoints mark a safe return spot after death. Later, throwing knives join the loadout, and spells send fireballs into enemy ranks. Free captives, cut down dark servants, and bring down the bosses blocking the path.
