Pixel Stories

In the game “Pixel Stories,” you’ll be introduced to nonograms—popular Japanese crossword puzzles. Instead of letters, you’ll need to find the correct places to fill in the squares, using the numbered clues along the edges of the grid. The numbers indicate exactly how many consecutive squares must be filled in each row and each column. Each correct solution gradually reveals the outline of a hidden object. Completing challenging conditions on the grid unlocks special achievements that grant collectible rewards and useful bonuses.

How to Play?

Before your very first round, be sure to watch the short tutorial video, which clearly explains the main rules of nonograms. The menu of your new pixel-art puzzle game features three exciting modes: classic level-based play, the daily challenge, and the “Fall” themed mode. Choose any option and look at the numbers surrounding the empty grid. Color in the correct squares and mark the empty spaces with Xs. You have only three chances to make a mistake; after that, you’ll have to start the round over. For each victory, you’ll earn gold stars, which you can use to buy hints when you get stuck. If you run out of stars, simply watch a short ad to instantly replenish your supply. Fully restore the hidden image to complete the current story and move on to more challenging puzzles.
