Monster Island: Throw Mines

Monster Island: Throw Mines is a trajectory-based puzzle game in the style of Angry Birds. Your job is to clear the island of monsters by tossing different kinds of explosives at them. The animation is light and cartoony with no blood, even though everything is about explosions. All the monsters are goofy cartoon characters that make faces, dance, and act in funny ways. The game has forty-eight levels that unlock one after another. With each new level, new types of monsters show up that are better at hiding from your attacks, so the challenge keeps growing. You get several types of mines to work with, including time bombs, instant mines, sticky mines, and rock mines. The game is packed with explosions and demands careful aim and control of your throw to beat every stage. You can also share your best results through Game Center, but that is completely optional.

How to play?

Use the mouse to control your throws. Aim by choosing the right arc for the mine and set the power of the launch. After you adjust both, throw the explosives at the monsters. Your goal is to destroy all the monsters on the screen to clear the level and move on to the next puzzle. Pick the right type of mine for each situation. Timed mines explode after a short delay, instant mines blow up on contact, sticky mines attach to a surface before going off, and rock mines deal damage with their heavy impact plus the explosion. Always think about the path and strength of your throw, keeping in mind where the monsters and obstacles are. The farther you go, the trickier the monsters get at hiding, so you will need more precise and thoughtful shots.
