2048:X2 Merge Blocks

Five vertical lanes wait at the top of the board. In 2048:X2 Merge Blocks, numbered squares slide downward through that space, and matching values fuse into a larger block with the doubled number. The pace rises after a while. Faster drops leave less room between one cube and the next.

How to play?

An empty grid appears with five columns. A square shows up first and sits at the bottom, ready for placement in any lane. More cubes descend with different numbers. Move a falling block into the column with the same value. Matching tiles join into one piece. The number doubles after the merge. Reach the highest value possible before the board fills.
