Drawing Squares

Welcome to the new logic puzzle game Drawing Squares! If you want to test your skills against a very experienced player, you are in the right place. Here you will compete with a real puzzle master in a game of drawing squares. The idea is based on a classic pen and paper game that many kids play at school, but now you can enjoy it right in your browser. This time, you will be filling in squares on a virtual sheet of paper on behalf of your classmate.

Are you ready for a real battle for territory on the grid? Before you jump in, you should learn a few simple rules. First, take a moment to look through the settings, go through a short briefing, and pay attention to the hints that appear on screen. After that, choose how many cells you want to play with. It is better to start with a smaller field so you do not immediately lose to the master.

How to play?

When the sheet of paper appears on the playing field, you draw a line anywhere on the grid. After your move, your opponent can use that line to complete a square and claim it. You and your rival take turns drawing lines, trying to close squares in your favor and mark as many of them as possible.

The winner is the player who scores the most points by capturing squares. Think through every move, because one careless line can give your opponent a chance to complete an entire row of squares. Plan ahead, watch the grid closely, and try not to leave open opportunities for your rival. Good luck!
