In Squarehead Hero, you meet a funny traveler who descends into the dark rooms of the dungeon and opens hiding places with loot. He encounters enemies, finds rare items, and moves through the cells, thinking about his next move. The atmosphere is calm, but the turn-based puzzle keeps you on your toes: monsters stand nearby, chests lie a little further away, and you need to figure out where the hero will go first. How to play?

Move the hero with swipes or arrows, choosing the direction of movement, and see who is standing in his way. In Squarehead Hero, you move through cells, encountering monsters and picking up loot. If the hero has a weapon in his hands, he damages the enemy's health, but the enemy also responds with a blow. When there is no weapon, the hero only takes damage, so it is better to pick up a sword or a potion in advance. Items in the inventory help to change the situation. Tap on potions or press the 1, 2, 3 keys to heal or strengthen your attack. By using items, you can open access to a new cell or defeat a powerful monster that is blocking the passage. Sometimes it is worth stopping, hovering the cursor over an enemy or an item, and looking at its characteristics: this helps you understand where it is more profitable to go next. Rooms open one after another, so keep an eye on what your hero picks up along the way. Loot often saves you in battle, and with its help, you can clear a path to the exit. Did you manage to get through the section? Great! You can immediately see where to go next and what awaits you ahead—a new enemy or a chest with items.
