Math Game: Smarty Train
Across a small train yard, numbers move from counting to real arithmetic in Math Game: Smarty Train. Children age 6 and up work with addition and subtraction signs, moving past number recognition into short math examples. Two activities shape the lesson. One uses train cars and a marked locomotive. The other places a steam train on a bridge with answer balloons floating above it.
How to play?
In the first activity, drag wagons beside the engine to build an example. The number written on the train shows the total that the cars must make. A correct setup forms the needed sum from the chosen cars. In the second activity, solve the problem shown on the steam train before it leaves the screen. Pick the answer from the balloons above the locomotive. A time limit covers this task. Miss the timer, and the round is lost.
