The game "Where They Wait for Me: Hidden Object" tells the story of a doll named El. She was left alone on the playground after a busy day and lost her way home. Around her is a strange world of forgotten toys, where old balls, books without covers, and stuffed animals with worn ears lie. Here, all objects hold someone's memories, and the toys themselves have been waiting for a long time to be found again. El is looking for a way back to Ann, her owner. To get out of this world, she needs to figure out what is happening, collect clues, and piece together fragments of the past. The story is told through pictures, details of the environment, and short scenes without long dialogues. Locations change gradually, revealing new places and additional fragments of the story.

How to play

In the game, you will have to complete three types of tasks. First, you explore locations, finding hidden items. The list of items you need is displayed on the screen. Examine the scene, zooming in on the image to notice small details. The found item immediately disappears from the scene and is marked on the list. If you can't find the item you need for a long time, use a hint, and it will show you one of the objects. After that, puzzles open up. Drag the fragments onto the playing field, focusing on the shape and outline of the picture. You can move and swap pieces until the image is complete. The assembled picture reveals part of the story and adds a new trophy to your collection. The third type of task involves finding differences. Two similar images appear on the screen. Compare them by clicking on the places where there are differences. The differences you find are marked immediately. A hint helps if one of the elements is difficult to spot. You receive rewards for completing tasks, which are stored in a separate section.
