You will save people during the day, but remember that soon it will be night. Watch the time, as well as the days. You will be shown how many game days you have already saved humanity. Start saving people and fly to the red lights. There, people will be waiting for rescue. Once you fly up to them, do everything quickly until zombies attack you. They can cling to the helicopter and prevent you from flying.

You can pick up no more than four people, as space is limited. You will have a meter saved by you people. Also, watch out for gasoline and life. They can run out quickly.
