Crimson Citadel

The gloomy Gothic spires of the ancient castle are shrouded in the cool of the night, and at the very foot of the walls, the merciless warriors of the Order of Dawn are already gathering. In the game “Crimson Citadel,” you can lead the defense of a vampire lair and protect the fortress gates from endless waves of advancing hunters. Every night, on a special battlefield, you’ll build defensive lines, combining mystical elements and creating formidable traps. Successful survival allows you to prolong the citadel’s existence, record your achievements in the ancient Chronicle, and prepare for a devastating assault—because every tenth night, the mighty Herald enters the fray with his retinue.

How to Play?

Assemble a defensive army of magical symbols using the rules of this exciting match-three game to meet uninvited guests at the fortress gates in time. Drag mystical elements to adjacent cells, swap their positions, and form lines of three identical items to transform them into weapons and defend the citadel. Three gray tombstones will summon a fanged gargoyle to your side; three thorny blackthorns will grow a predatory vine; three urns of ashes will create a heavy mortar; and three thick mists will cast a slowing veil. Combine three identical structures so they merge into a single structure of the next power level: from rough and bone to obsidian and crimson. Remember that you have exactly 5 drops of blood for all swaps, and each swap costs one drop of blood. Form chains of four or more magical tokens to restore energy, drag excess tokens off the edge of the screen to destroy them, and use the undo feature when you make mistakes. Drag completed gargoyles from the top corner directly onto the castle towers, and if you run out of moves, drink the blood from the collected chalice. Finish building your army before your energy runs out, because at dawn, the hunters will begin moving from the bottom up, your cannons will open automatic fire, and any enemy that breaks through will drain a portion of the citadel’s life force.
