Advanced Wars

Orders arrive before the first shot. In the campaign of Advanced Wars, a commander studies the battlefield, completes training, and leads military units through direct clashes with enemy forces. Every move on the map asks for planning ahead, since reckless attacks waste troops and hand the advantage to the other army.

How to play?

During training, learn how units move and when to attack. Send the squad that actually hurts the target, because infantry won't beat tanks in a straight fight. Against a weak enemy, strike first to remove that threat before the counterattack. Once all actions for the day are spent, end the day and wait for the next round of orders. Command tasks from leadership stay visible, giving you mission targets to follow during each battle.
