Dark Soil

Retirement doesn't last long in Dark Soil. A former fighter works a dead field in a cursed land, burying seeds and raising hostile growths for one reason: harvest souls from them. The plot looks empty at first. Soon it fills with killer plants that claw, charge, or strike in different ways. Soul income feeds your level bar. Better gear waits in chests, and a sanctuary restores your health after every fifth level.

How to play?

Plant on the bare patch first. Head to the stream, draw water, then soak the ground until the sprouts mature. When a creature emerges, face it with your weapon. Watch the stamina meter before using a somersault, since repeated rolls drain it fast. Cut down the grown monsters to collect souls and raise your level. Reach the next fifth-level break to heal at the sanctuary, then check nearby chests for stronger weapons.
