Hamster Grid Time

Hamster Grid Time is an educational game where children learn to tell time using a clock with hands. A cute hamster student calls on you to help him on his journey, where he needs to read the clock face correctly. For each correct answer, the hero climbs higher up the ladder to the final. The point is to compare two ways of showing time: numbers and hands. This helps children understand the connection between modern electronic clocks on gadgets and old round dials on walls and wrists.

How to play

Select the appropriate difficulty level in the start menu. Easy shows simple time with full hours, medium adds minutes, and hard includes all options. Look at the digital clock on the platform under the hamster. It shows the time in the usual format, for example, "3:15" or "7:30." Memorize these numbers. Now look at the four analog dials on the right. Study the position of the hands on each one. The short thick hand shows the hours, and the long thin hand shows the minutes. Find the dial where the hands point to the same time as the numbers. Click on the selected dial. You only have a few seconds to think, so act quickly but carefully. If you guess correctly, the hamster climbs the stairs to the next platform, and you get points. A new task with a different time appears. Did you make a mistake? The hamster loses one life from its reserve. You play for five minutes. During this time, try to get the hamster as high as possible by solving as many tasks in a row as possible. Practice, memorize the position of the hands for different times, and help the hamster student conquer the heights of learning to tell time.
