Drag Racing 2D

A side-view dash down a 402-meter strip leaves no room for drifting or detours. Drag Racing 2D runs on raw speed and sharp gear changes. Four cars are available: Chevrolet SV, Ford Mustang, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. The weakest ride is available first, while the other three cost prize money. Top speed, acceleration, and nitro each have their own upgrade path. Body color can be changed before the race. Above the track, a progress bar shows two dots for both cars, making the lead easy to read. Three difficulty settings are available: easy, medium, and hard. Greater difficulty pays more. You begin with 50 cash units, then build a bigger bankroll with early wins.

How to play?

Pick a car, choose a color, then set the opponent's difficulty. Watch the gauges off the line and shift at the right moment to build speed. Hit nitro when the burst will do the most work. Reach the finish first, collect the payout, and spend it on upgrades. Buy stronger cars, max out all four, and take the top spot on hard.
