The Long Way

An endless desert covers the place where the ocean used to be. Sunken ships sit in the sand. Abandoned gas stations and shacks break up the emptiness. Cacti, wind, and dust clouds fill the horizon. In The Long Way, you're alone with the road and a huge open map. At the center, there's a garage with your first car, a GAZ-24 Volga. It doesn't come ready. You assemble it piece by piece. Fit the doors and body panels first. Then mount the engine and wheels. After that, raise the garage door by hand, fire up the car, and pick a direction. The road runs right or left. Your call.

How to play?

Roam the desert for gasoline, food, and spare parts. Check abandoned houses, garages, and crash sites. Stash what you find in the trunk. More wrecks wait out in the sand. Some hold replacement body parts. Others have components for repairs or tuning. Watch your fuel gauge. Manage supplies. Explore the map, patch up the Volga, and stay alive in the dusty wasteland. Language, graphics, and sound settings are available from the menu.
