BuildCraft: Heavy Machinery

Imagine being given the chance to manage a real construction site—not just one machine, but an entire fleet of heavy equipment. In "BuildCraft: Heavy Machinery," you’ll take the wheel of an excavator, a crane, or a truck, and each level presents a new challenge: sometimes you’ll need to clear a pile of debris, other times haul a load across a difficult stretch of terrain, and still other times simply navigate carefully to the right spot without tipping the vehicle over. The locations are constantly changing: a city construction site gives way to a mountain slope, which in turn turns into a desert or a volcano. The physics are designed for realism, and the tasks require just as much thinking as they do button-pressing, so the game can captivate both children and adults alike.

How to play?

The game features eight worlds, each with fifteen levels—city, mountains, desert, cave, volcano—and every location has its own construction site with its own set of rules. You control the machinery using the keyboard or on-screen arrows: some controls handle movement, while others handle loading and unloading materials. It all starts off simple, with just one machine, so you can get used to the controls. But then the difficulty increases; cranes, trucks, and excavators appear in the game, and to complete each task, you often have to use all the equipment at once, switching between machines one by one. If you get stuck on a level, don’t worry—you can skip it by watching a short ad.
