Battalion Commander 1917

Barbed wire and gunfire cut across the advance. In Battalion Commander 1917, a WWI side-scrolling shooter, a lone officer pushes through enemy lines to free captured soldiers from cages and pull more men into the squad. Roadblocks block the route. Armored vehicles roll in, infantry fills the path, and bullets force constant movement across the battlefield. Gold from completed missions pays for rank upgrades and a larger skill tree. Wooden crates break apart for supplies. Fuel barrels erupt under fire.

How to play?

Move across the map and fire at enemy troops. Shoot cages to release prisoners, then march ahead with a bigger unit. Shell blocked positions with an artillery strike from the top edge of the field. Grab a first aid kit after a soldier takes a hit. Mines on the ground, grenade launchers, aircraft bombing runs, and sniper fire punish standing still. Cover as much ground as possible without getting pinned down.
