Bowman 1

Arrows trade across a bare dueling field in Bowman 1. One archer stands opposite another, and the round ends only after a lethal hit lands. Several arrows may be needed before either side drops. Solo matches pit you against the computer. Local versus mode seats two players in the same one-on-one contest. A separate practice range strips away win conditions and limits, leaving only the bow, the target, and repeated shots. Default health makes a heart hit survivable once, with the second heart shot finishing the archer. Vitality settings change that durability, and a few extra options adjust how punishing the duel feels.

How to play?

Draw the bowstring, choose an angle, then release the shot. Power ranges from 1 to 100 percent. Angles span 0 to 180 degrees on either side. Distance and arc decide whether the arrow lands high, drops short, or cuts straight into the opponent. Ammo never runs out, which puts the pressure on aim rather than supply. In practice mode, fire at the target from different trajectories until the arc feels right. Against the computer, test those shots under return fire. In two-player matches, trade attempts from opposite sides and adjust the next arrow after every miss or body hit.
