Upupa Bird Ninja

Upupa Bird Ninja is a fast-paced tactical action game from Clockwork Acorn. You play as Upupa, a hoopoe and ninja warrior who climbs to the top of an ancient tower to defeat powerful monsters and protect the world from evil. On your way to the bosses, you’ll have to cut through crowds of enemies at lightning speed, combining the skills of a great warrior with those of a brilliant tactician. Simply completing each level isn’t enough to move on—you’ll need to prove your mastery. The game is inspired by Disc Room but offers unique gameplay with its own style and character. Bosses include a giant centipede, a green brain-shooting machine gun boss, and other fearsome creatures. The game supports speedruns, with time records ranging up to about half an hour. The game is one of the best indie titles, featuring unique design, engaging mechanics, and beautiful art style. It’s available in-browser and on Windows, is actively updated by the developers, and a full version titled Feather’s Edge is already available on Steam.

How to play?

Aim in the direction of enemies and instantly move toward them, slicing through everything in your path. Every movement is both an attack and a movement, so it’s important to think ahead and choose your targets tactically. Destroy enemies, fight your way through the tower’s floors, and prepare to face bosses—each of which requires a unique approach. The mechanics are easy to grasp from the very first seconds, but mastering them perfectly is a real challenge.
