Climb into a dune buggy and tear across open sand, rocky slopes, and steep ridges in Rally in the Desert. This off-road driving game gives you three separate maps to roam, with ruby hunting instead of lap racing. Day runs change to night runs later on, which makes the search less direct. Crystal clusters don't sit in one path. They're tucked across the terrain, often high on dunes or near rough ground that can launch your car.

First-person view changes the ride completely. Low camera height makes jumps feel steeper, and long sand mounds work like ramps when you build enough speed. The buggy is built for loose ground, but the desert still fights back with uneven hills and sharp drops. Clear one area, move to the next, then keep searching until you've gathered the amount needed to unlock another map.

How to play?

Scan the horizon before you hit the throttle. Ruby pickups can blend into the sand at a distance, especially during night stages. Press the drive controls smoothly when climbing dunes. Hit the gas too hard on a slope, and the buggy can bounce past a crystal. Use ridges as launch points when you spot gems above ground level. Line up the approach, build speed, then drive straight through the pickup.

Switch camera view when the terrain blocks your sightline. A lower view helps with landings on steep sandbanks. Collect about 25 crystals on a map to open the next location. Keep moving after each pickup, since the remaining rubies may be far from your last route.
