"Snoring Elephant Puzzle: Pirates" transposes the familiar mechanics into a pirate theme, but the core concept remains the same: somewhere on a platform, a loudly snoring elephant is sleeping, and his animal friends must wake him up by setting off a small chain reaction. This time, the whole gang finds itself surrounded by treasure, ships, and other trappings of pirate life, but the objective remains the same: you need to activate the right animals so that one of them eventually crashes right into the elephant and wakes him up. Each animal still has its own special ability, and correctly figuring out which one is best suited for the task is half the solution to the puzzle. You’ll have to navigate moving platforms, narrow passages, and other obstacles typical of a pirate setting, and the path to the elephant is rarely a straight one—most often, you’ll need to build a whole chain of several animals, each passing the momentum on to the next.

How to Play?

There are a total of twenty-four levels in the game. Controls are based on clicks—tap an animal, and it starts moving, using its special ability. Each animal has its own set of abilities: the zebra, for example, can jump, while the cow can switch between a round, rolling shape and a square, stationary one—and it’s precisely this shape-shifting that’s often needed to change direction or stop in time. A level is considered complete as soon as something collides with the elephant, and there are various ways to achieve this—sometimes the last animal next to it is enough, while other times you have to push one animal into another, creating a whole chain of collisions. Precise timing is everything here; you need to calculate the right moment to activate each animal so they can cross the moving platforms and pass momentum to one another without a hitch. If you’re completely stumped on what to do, a hint system comes to the rescue, showing which animal’s ability to use in a specific situation. The faster you complete a level, the more stars you’ll earn upon finishing it.
