Move wooden crates and many other objects to climb high ground or activate a device that will allow you to move forward. If you like, you can move the camera away from your character to get a better view of the area and to plan. You'll also always have a wrench to help you repair some of the broken items needed to get around obstacles. Use the elevators to transport hefty loads.
