Ugly Button: A Way Out

Rain pounds on an abandoned house. In Ugly Button: A Way Out, a rag doll wakes with a beating toy heart and no memory of how he got there. The place isn't new to him. His whole life is tied to these rooms, yet the past stays blank. A soft story runs through the escape quest, following a worn little boy called Ugly Button whose odd name doesn't match his gentle look.

How to play?

Search the house for objects that have value in the current puzzle, inspect records and scattered materials, and connect what they reveal about the rag doll's past. Across the rooms, gather the pieces of his soul, since each one brings him closer to recovered memories and a human form. When a clue points to a locked spot or a missing item, move through the house again and check what can now be used.
