Night for Drag Racing

Late-night streets set the scene in Night for Drag Racing, a 402-meter underground drag racer with traffic lights, headlight glare, wet lane markings, and fog hanging over the road. Time of day changes traction, which gives each run a different feel. The garage holds 9 cars, from Japanese sports models to American muscle, each with its own launch and acceleration behavior. Races pay out cash, and more cars can also be unlocked through ads. A 2D side view frames every pass.

How to play?

Watch the lights and launch on green. Jump too early or react too late, and the race slips away. Shift at the right RPM to pull the hardest acceleration. Hit nitrous between fourth and fifth gear, or save it for the moment the gap needs to close. Prize money goes back into upgrades and new rides. Tune the body with a spoiler, bumper, hood, rims, tires, and paint, then build the engine through the air filter, exhaust, ECU, intake, block, pistons, turbo, camshaft, clutch, and nitrous. Adjust gear ratios for the track, beat stronger rivals as your car gets quicker, and chase your best 402-meter time.
