2048 Classic

Inside a 4x4 grid, number tiles press against each other until one square reaches 2048. In 2048 Classic, each slide reshapes the board, making patience worth more than speed. Basic addition drives every decision, and rushed moves waste precious space with values that don't line up.

How to play?

Slide all tiles left, right, up, or down with one move. Matching numbers merge into one square showing their sum, then a fresh 2 or 4 appears in an empty cell. When no space remains, and equal values no longer touch, the round ends. Choose a bottom corner for the largest number and place lower values above it. Upward moves work best after the cells above that corner are filled. Remove 2 tiles from the lower row early, before larger numbers box them in.
